Soudan : The revolution must continue

As some crowds of Sudanese people are celebrating in the streets today after the opposition leaders struck a power-sharing deal with the generals, we have to call a spade a spade : the interests of the millions of workers, young people, women and poor who are fighting for a Sudan free of dictatorship and poverty are utterly irreconcilable with the interests of the counter-revolutionary generals and murdering warlords at the head of the TMC.
Only a couple of days ago, we saw among the largest street protests in Sudan’s history. These protests were not demanding a compromise with the junta ; they were demanding the junta to go. As it is, the Janjanweed are still roaming around and the ruling military clique, which has engaged in killing and arresting people even in the midst of negotiations, is still firmly in control, and will use this "agreement" to renew its crackdown on the revolutionary movement.
There is nothing to jubilate about ; this agreement is not worth the piece of paper it is written on - the revolution must continue.
